‘College’ magazine is a college guide and quarterly magazine written and edited
by college students and created in 2007 by publisher and founder Amanda
Nachman. She was a student herself in
her senior year of college when she launched the first issue of the magazine in
September 2007. The magazine features all social college issues including:
general advice, career tips, student success stories, sports features,
celebrity interviews, sex advice and health questions. The magazine front cover doesn't feature anything offensive or off putting it contains mutual cover
stories causing no controversy. The magazine is portrayed in a completely
positive way with helpful and informative effects. The magazine is aimed at an audience of
students 16 to 21 male and female at college that are studying and anybody
interested in any particular cover line that interests them in the magazine.
The way that the magazine comes across is stereotypical of students but neither
in a positive or negative way. Everything you would imagine to be included on
the front cover is included to attract the right people to the magazine.
